1840, shows ownership of Plantations in Jamaica as Cohen, Judah - Potsdam, 1710 acres, Corby Castle, 328 acres, Hyman Cohen - Berlin 1412 acres and Cohen, H. & J. - interest in Twickenham, 1000 acres - all in St. Elizabeth Parish, Jamaica. Also from the Jamaica Almanac the following ownership is shown - H. & J. Cohen - Isle, 397 acres; Judah Cohen, Heathfield, 348 acres, Hyman Cohen, Apropos, 60 acres, Judah Cohen, Maidstone, Bath and Chatham, 1058 acres, Hyman Cohen - Albion, 1350 acres and Judah Cohen - Berwick - all in Manchester Parish, Jamaica.
