• Carel is in 1927 gebore. Hy is die seun van Hansie Coetzee en Salie Lubbe. Hy is in 2007 oorlede. // Carel Johannes Lubbe was born in 1927. He is the son of Hansie Coetzee and Salie Lubbe. He passed away in 2007.
• Die egpaar het twee dogters: Arina en Sarita. // The couple has 2 daughters: Arina and Sarita.
• Hy was skoolhoof van Laerskool Orkney in die tydperk 1969 tot 1987. In 1977 het hy die graad M.Ed. aan die Potchefstroomse Universiteit vir CHO behaal. Die titel van die verhandeling is "Die invloed van skoolwisseling op die skolastiese prestasie van leerlinge in standerds 3, 4 en 5" // He was school principal of Laerskool Orkney (Primary School Orkney) from 1969 to 1987. In 1977 he obtained the degree M.Ed. at the Potchefstroom University for CHE. The title of the dissertation is "Die invloed van skoolwisseling op die skolastiese prestasie van leerlinge in standerds 3, 4 en 5" ( "The influence of school change on the scholastic performance of pupils in standards 3, 4 and 5)"
