Biography
Jan Abraham Coetze (Coetzee) was born on 11 October 1808 and baptised on 29 January 1809 in Graaff-Reinet, Cape Colony, South Africa.[1]
First, Jan married Maria Elisabeth Botha on 2 August 1829 in Graaff-Reinet, Cape Province, South Africa.[2]
After his wife's death in 1844, Jan then married Petronella Johanna Susanna Kruger on 17 March 1845 in Colesberg, Cape Colony, South Africa.[3]
