Biography

Mary Patricia was born on 13 November 1926, in Iroquois Falls, Cochrane, Ontario, Canada. When Mary Patricia Cockburn was born in 1926, her father, Frederick Charles Cockburn, was 32 and her mother, Marjorie Cecilia Winnifred Conlin, was 30. She was baptized 17 April 1927 in t St. Anne's Parish, Iroquois Falls, Ontario. The Godfather was Ed Thomas Silver and Godmother was Margaret Sloan. As a child, Pat was called Patsy. . Patsy had1 brother and 3 sisters.

In 1930, Marjorie Conlin was diagnosed with breast cancer. The family moved back to Toronto, York, Ontario, ^[1] At this time Fred was listed as an accountant. Her mother succumbed to her illness when It mestasized her larynx. She died of cancer of the larynx on 8 October, 1933. ^[2] Her mother was 37 years old. Patsy was 6 years old, 1 month before her 7th birthday. Her father Fred Cockburn's occupation was secretary-treasurer at dominion woolens & worsteds in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada.

She married Normand Joseph Parent on 3 February 1951, in Hollywood, Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 4 daughters. She lived in York, York, Ontario, Canada in 1931. She died on 21 October 2011, in Vallejo, Solano, California, United States, at the age of 84. She passed away in 2011.
