Tyrus Raymond Cobb was born on 30 Jan 1910 in Georgia, United States, son of Tyrus Raymond Cobb (1886–1961) and Charlotte 'Charlie' Marion Lombard (1890–1975). Tyrus was the son of Tyrus Raymond "Ty" Cobb, nicknamed "The Georgia Peach," who was an American Major League Baseball (MLB) outfielder^[1].
