Rachel Closson was born about 1818 at Harwich, Essex, England, United Kingdom. She was a daughter of Thomas Closson and MaryMaldon.

She married James Walker in 1840 at Rotherhithe, Southwark, London. [1]

Rachel and James migrated to the Colony of New South Wales (Australia).

She passed away on 14th July 1896 at Bondi, New South Wales. [2]
