George Clark Cleveland was a son of Job William Cleveland and Almira Fenton, born 27 July 1818 in East Hebron, New York.[1]
He married first Elvira Jane Clark, in Portage, New York on 18 January 1843. They had two children, George Clark Cleveland and Harvey Chester Cleveland, both born in Rockford, Illinois.[2]
Elvira Clark died in 1849, and George married again, to Pamelia Lewis, on 1 October 1851, in Orangeville, Wyoming County, New York.[2]
