Biography
Margaret was born about 1691, probably in Maghera, county Derry, the daughter of John Clark, sen. and Jane White. She emigrated to America, where she lived with her husband, William Jameson, in New Hampshire. Sometime after the death of her father, Margaret's brother-in-law, Dr. John McNeile, went to America, carrying a letter of credit to Margaret as a legacy from her late father's estate.[1] Similarly, when her brother, John Clark, jun., died, he left her legacies "if she return to this kingdom."[2]
