Biography

She married William M. Powers on 10 September 1838 in Rockingham, Vermont. ^[1]

She was sealed in marriage to Brigham Young on 15 January 1845 in Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois. ^{[2] [3]}

On 18 June 1851 she wrote to Brigham Young and asked "I wish you to release me from all engagements with you for time and eternity", and that request was granted. ^[4]

She appeared in the 1860 US Census in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, Iowa. ^[5] She was living with her husband William. ^[5]

She appeared in the 1870 US Census in Council Bluffs. ^[6] She was living with her husband William. Also in the household was Mary Bishop (20). ^[6]

She appeared in the 1880 US Census in Council Bluffs. ^[7] She was living with her husband William. ^[7]
