Biography
Baldwin Clare was a member of the aristocracy in England.
Baldwin Fitz Gilbert de Clare (brother of 1st Earl of Pembroke of the 1138 creation and son of Gilbert, feudal Lord of Clare, Suffolk and Cardigan, whose father Richard was son of the Count of Brionne, of an illegitimate line of the Dukes of Normandy. [1]
