Biography

Thomas Church, the son of Benjamin Church and Alice Southworth, was born about 1674 at Duxbury, and died at Little Compton March 12, 1746 in his 73rd year. He was married 3 times. He married Sarah Hayman at Bristol on February 21, 1698. They had 5 children: Sarah, Elizabeth,Thomas, Alice and Benjamin. On April 16, 1712 he married Edith Woodman. They had 4 children: Elizabeth, Hannah, Priscilla, and Thomas. On October 10, 1719 he married Sarah Horsewell. With her he had 8 more children: Thomas, Sarah, Thomas, Benjamin, Mary, Thomas, Benjamin, and Mercy.[1]
