The death record for her daughter Ursula Fisher gives her maiden name as Nellie M. Her birth date of 16 December 1847 was registered in the vital records of West Springfield, Massachusetts, together with the birth date of her husband George.[6] The 1900 U.S. Census gave her birth date as December 1846, and indicated that George and Nellie married in about 1872.[7]
