Robert Christie was born in Scotland.
Robert was born on 11 Nov 1872, in Carnbee, Fife, Scotland. He was the son of John Christie and Magdalene Anderson. [1]
In the 1871 census Robert (age 1) was the son of John Christie in St Sord Cottan Hou, Kilconquhar, Fife.[2]
Robert's mother, Magdalene passed away in 1875, when Robert was about 3 years of age. His father John remarried and his step-mother was Margaret Grant.
In the 1881 census Robert (age 8), Scholar, was the son of John Christie in Sypsies Cothouse, Crail, Fife.[3]
In the 1891 census Robert (age 18), Ploughman, was the servant of William S Cunningham in Auchindownie Bothy, Largo, Fife.[4]
He married Christina Carr on 23 Jul 1896, in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. Christina passed away that same year.
He married Agnes (Aggie) Suttie on 10 Dec 1897, in Largo, Fife, Scotland.
In the 1901 census Robert (age 27), Ploughman (working Horses), was the head of household in Barnsmuir Cottar Ho, Kilrenny, Fife.[5]
He passed away on 8 Nov 1957, in Fife, Scotland.
