Joseph Chouret was born on 14 Aug 1650 in Beauport and was waved there by Robert Giffart, the baptism ceremonies supplemented on 8 Sep 1650 in Notre-Dame de Québec. He was the son of Mathieu Choret and Sébastienne Veillon. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Robert Giffart and Marie Françoise de Clément de Vuault.[1] [2]

Death and Burial
Joseph Choret passed away on 28 Oct 1684 in the poor room of the Hôtel-Dieu hospital in Québec and was buried on the 29th in the hospital cemetery for the poor. In the presence of known witnesses Daniel Latouche and Étienne Marandeau. The officiating priest was Henri de Bernières.[9]

Joseph Choret décède le 28 octobre 1684 dans la salle de pauvres de l'Hôtel-Dieu de Québec et fut inhumé le 29 dans le cimetière des pauvres de l'hôpital.[9]
