It's time for the One Place Studies Project Check-In!

We've put together a survey for you to fill out to check in with you, it will only take a moment as there are only a few questions. Filling out the survey lets us know you are still interested in coordinating your study and provides an opportunity for you to share any suggestions you may have for the project.

If you have decided to step away from your study, please reply to this comment to that effect.

Wanted to let you know I am currently working on your unreadable photos posted in G2G on Sep. 11, 2018. I have several half or more read and one completely finished for today. Can I place your picture on Find-A-Grave giving you credit for the photo? Do you want my findings on the photo next to the headstone in a text box? Not sure I can read all the stones but I'll keep trying.
Hi, I just wanted to thank you for all the work you've done to improve the US Civil War Between the States Project. I'm doing a check-in with all project members and wanted to verify that you're still interested in being a member of the project. Also, any suggestions for the Project would be welcome. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

P Kreutzer, US Civil War Between the States Project Leader.

Hi E,

I noticed that you were currently following the CEMETERIES tag, but were not yet a member of the Cemeteries Global Cemeteries Project. If you are interested in more details about the project, or are just ready to sign up, please head on over to our G2G Welcome Post for more information.

I look forward to seeing you around the tree!

Thanks for the quick fix on Charles Pierce. Sometimes it is difficult to find time for fixes but small edits like this motivate me. Much appreciated.

Thank you for checking out my Woburn First Burial Ground page. I see that you have one in Malden as well. Looks good!

I started my page after visiting the First Burial Ground to photograph gravestones of some of my ancestors there. Then, I started photographing other gravestones, researching the people and creating WikiTree profiles for them. Now, I’m on the lookout for profiles tagged with First Burial Ground, which I’ll often improve. One thing that bothers me is that FindAGrave often declares a person to have been buried there, but offers no proof, e.g., a gravestone photo, and my questions often go unanswered. Good hunting, and thanks again!

Thank you for participating in the 2018 Source-a-Thon as a member of Team Massachusetts. Together we sourced over 1000 profiles. Great job. Next team effort will be the 2019 Spring Clean-a-Thon. See you then.

Thanks for all your work. Bob

I agree that Buswell-126 and Buswell-298 are same person and should be merged. I left a comment about that same idea on the Buswell-126 page a couple of months ago. I have never merged a profile on this database system.

Well done! I was trying to merge them but the system wouldn't let me or most likely because I was doing it wrong,

Welcome to the Civil War project!! Check out our project page and the Massachusetts resource page. Add your space page to that if you’d like to share it with the project. The page needs to be completed if you have an interest. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the kind and encouraging note! I get huffy (understatement) about the lack of details readily available on the 54th soldiers and their families, but it turns out that frustration makes great fuel to drive the project! :)

After MONTHS (like 30) of trying to get ahold of that "Early Pleasant River Families" book I finally succeed. And I go to update my family less than a week after you already did it all. Kudos and boy does MY timing suck. LOL (rechecked, and it was just barely over a year ago)
