Biography

Sarah Chesebrough was a daughter of Nathaniel Chesebrough and Hannah Dennison, born at Stonington, Connecticut, on 30 January 1662. She and several siblings were baptized at Stonington on 15 November 1674.

Find a Grave states she first married Samuel Gallup and after his death, married his brother, but most sources of his time state that Samuel never married or married someone else.

She was married to Lt. William Gallup (1658–1731) at Stonington on 4 January 1687/8. They had:
