Biography

Caroline (Cheney) Thomlinson was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)

Caroline was born in Great Western, Victoria in 1865. She is the daughter of James Conway Cheney and Mary Anne Bale. [1]

In 1891 Caroline married Robert Thomlinson in Stawell, Victoria. [2] They had five children: Elsie Victoria in 1891, John Robert Jack in 1893, Grace May in 1894, Enest Edward in 1898 and Leslie Walter in 1903. At some point before the birth of their first child the couple moved to 350 Barkly St. East Brunswick, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. [3] where Elsie was born.

Caroline died at her residence, 8 Wastell St. Northcote on 28 April 1944. [4] [5] She was buried in Fawkner Memorial Park. [6] [7]
