Elizabeth Ann (Cheney) Renfro was born on 28 Apr 1707 in Bedford, Middlesex, Virginia, daughter of Thomas Cheney (1684 - 1733) and Sarah Jane (Swepstone) Cheney (1682 - 1731).

Elizabeth (~19) married William R Renfro (~24) (1702 - >1789) in 1726 in Botetourt Parish, Botetourt, Virginia. Their children were:
