Rowena was born on August 13, 1917 in Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Lewis Cheney and Carrie Bushman. She married Howard Charles Atkinson on October 1, 1935 in Oklahoma. Howard passed away in 1993. She passed away on March 2, 2010.
