Rhonda Dee Chavez was born on 16 Nov 1963 in Hardin, Big Horn, Montana, United States, daughter of Edward Chavez (1941–1988) and Carole Laverne Zimmer (1941–2001)^[1].

Rhonda died on 22 May 2000 in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, United States, aged 36^[2]. Rhonda was buried in Libby Cemetery, Libby, Lincoln County, Montana, United States with a death date of 22 May 2000.^[3]

"Rhonda Dee Barrett, 36, was born Nov 16, 1963, in Hardin, Big Horn Co, MT to Edward "Cisco" Chavez and Carol Zimmer-Warzeka. She had a brother, Ronald Chavez. The family relocated to Boise, Idaho when Rhonda was 3 years old. Rhonda attended school in Boise.

In 1980, Rhonda was married to Ramon Pedraza. On Nov. 1, 1980, Rhonda's treasured son, Eric Pedraza, was born. After a few years with her wonderful little boy, Eric, she was given another great blessing. On March 16, 1983, her son, Ronnie Pedraza, was born. Rhonda was later divorced.

Rhonda and her beloved sons traveled the United States with the Renaissance Fair. During the years with the fair, Rhonda created and sold beautiful crystal jewelry. Rhonda and her sons relocated to Libby for a few years, where she attended Flathead Community College Extension and obtained her GED. She worked at several delicatessens until she became disabled.

Rhonda married Tim Barrett. They were later divorced. She was living the past few years in Belgrade.

Throughout her life, Rhonda was a champion Scrabble player (she always won! according to Grandma Marlys and the others defeated). She was also a master puzzle worker and a fabulous short story and journal entry writer.

Rhonda is survived by her mother, Carole Warzeka, and step-father, Ron Warzeka, both of Belgrade; son, Eric Pedraza of Marine Base 29 Palms, CA; son, Ronnie Pedraza of Belgrade; brother, Ronald Chavez, his wife and daughter, all of Las Cruces, NM; grandmother, Marlys Zimmer; and numerous other relatives.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, Edward "Cisco" Chavez; grandparents, Dave and Esther Chavez; cousin, Michelle Critchlow; grandfather, Herbert Zimmer; cousin, Ryan Caton; aunt, Julia; cousin, Rusty; and other beloved family.
