Isaac was the son of Isaac Chauvin (d. 1735) of St. James Santee Parish, Province of South Carolina. He was of age by 1736. [1]
On 25 August 1751 he married Elizabeth Robert, widow of Elias Jaudon.[2] They had a son, Charles (1753-1790).[1]
Isaac was dead by 30 August 1754 when his inventory, including five named slaves, was filed.[3]
