Biography
Marguerite Chauvin was born on February 17, 1773 in Boucherville, Bas-Canada, daughter of André Chauvin and Thérèse Huet (1742–1797).
Marguerite (20) married Antoine Normandin (22), son of Antoine Normandin and Marie Racicot, on February 3, 1794 at Ste-Anne-de-Varennes. [1]Together, they had the following (known) children[2]
- Antoine, n. 18 Nov 1794, Boucherville (Ste-Famille); he married Marie Anne BOUCHER on October 30, 1820 at St-Constant (La Prairie)
- Euphrosine, n. 17 April 1796, Boucherville (Ste-Famille); she married Luc DEMERS DUMAIS on October 23, 1815 at St-Constant (La Prairie)
- Marguerite, n. 29 November 1797, L'Acadie (Ste-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie); she married Basile BEAUDIN on August 29, 1814 at St-Constant (La Prairie)
- Amable, n. 6 March 1800, L'Acadie (Ste-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie), d. 25 June 1800, L'Acadie (Ste-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie), (Died Young)
Marguerite died on March 17, 1800 in L'Acadie, Le Haut-Richelieu, Lower, Canada, aged 27.
