Biography
Israël Chassé, son of farmer Guillaume Chassé and Séraphine Champoux was born and baptized on January 29, 1846 at Baie-du-Febvre, Bas-Canada.[1]
At 37 years old, Israël, farmer from Saint-Antoine de la Baie-du-Febvre, adult son of farmer Guillaume Chassé and late Séraphine Champoux married Julie Proulx, a 30-year-old teacher, adult daughter of farmer Olivier Proulx and Marguerite Allard on November 6, 1883 at parish Saint-Zéphirin-de-Courval. Among those present, have signed Julie Proulx, Adjuteur Proulx, Emmanuel Proulx, Délima Chassé, Joseph Proulx, Emilie Descôteaux, Guillaume Chassé, Honorine Parent, Marie Fréchette and Domitile Côté. [2]
