Biography
I was born and raised in the area of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I lived the first 30 years of my life in Alberta, the next 30 years in the Yukon and now I'm working on the last 30 years in British Columbia. I prefer a rural lifestyle, not much for big cities. When I look out my window I see horses grazing in a field. I got interested in genealogy about 20 years ago when my mother handed me her 20 years worth of handwritten charts and letters and family pictures. I wish she was still here so I could share everything that I have learned about her family. Her parents moved from Kansas USA to Alberta Canada in the early 1900's and were homesteaders. Still today there are lots of plowboys and cowboys in my family tree.

2nd great grandfather James was until he moved to then Cass now Bartow Co. then grt grd father John Lewis-wmarried Nancy Dmith, my grdfather also John Lewis to my father James Earl b. In Dalton Ga. In 1912. No sons. Si I asked Hugh to do the DNA but have not been sable to find password where there is a new match on Family Tree DNA. That was about 2009 to 2013. I’ve moved several times since then, stilllooking. He was only male that I knew how to contact. And knew he would like to know. Sorry for errors having trouble with stiff hands.
