Biography

• John Chapman was born in 1762, Halifax, Virginia and he died in 1833, Cumberland, Kentucky. He married Lucy Barber Williams (1768-1844), the daughter of Luke Williams (1738-1810) and Katherine Lucy Barber (1740-1810). John and Lucy had severn children: William, Rawley, Rolley, Allen, John, Sarah, and William Chapman.
