Biography

Mary was born in 1837 one of 10 + children of Dudley Jones and Nancy Frances (Jolly or Jolley) Chandler-as of the 1850 census, where she was listed as 13 in her mom and dad's household along with 11 other siblings. Mary married Reuben Thorton L. McGinnis and they also had 10+ children. Mary passed away in 1920 not too long after her 83rd birthday, with cause of death on her death certificate listed as "paralysis".
