Biography

Lucinda Champion was born in 1812 in South Carolina. Her parents were John J. Champion and his wife, Eleanor (McKee) Champion. The family lived in Lancaster County, South Carolina and moved to Alabama after it became a state in 1819.

Lucinda Champion married William T. Morgan, b: 1806 in Clarke County, North Carolina, on June 2, 1832. ^[1] The couple had 9 children:^[2]
