Elizabeth Champagne was born on 1 Apr 1860 in Fairfield, Somerset, Maine. She was the daughter of Godfroid Lambert Champagne and Julie Marcoux. SAt age 20 Elizabeth married David Roy on 4 Oct 1880 in Waterville, Kennebec, Maine. There was at least one child born into this marriage. Elizabeth died at age 41 on 15 Apr 1901 in Fairfield; she was buried in Halde Cemetery in Waterville,
