Biography
Elton was born in 1867.
He played in Major League Baseball as a right-handed pitcher from 1886 to 1896. Elton made his major league debut with the Louisville Colonels of the American Association in September of 1886.
He played with the Colonels for three years. He later played with the St. Louis Browns (1888–1890), Columbus Solons (1890), Philadelphia Athletics (1891), Cincinnati Reds (1892–1894) and finally, the Cleveland Spiders (1896).
He passed away in 1929.
