Arabelle Olive Chaffin was born on 20 October 1889 in Bennington Twp, Shiawassee, Michigan,^[1] the daughter of Roscoe Randolph Chaffin (1856–1930) and Mary Deidamia Gillett^[1] (1857–1925).

Arabelle (26) and Clarence J. Collar (32) were married on 17 Jun 1916 in Lowell, Kent.^[2] Clarence was born in 1883 in Lowell, Kent, Michigan.

Arabelle died on 2 Sep 1948 in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Florida, aged 58.^[3]
