Joseph Evangeliste Alfred Chabot was born on January 17, 1878 in canton de Langevin (mission de Sainte-Justine), Québec, Canada, son of Pierre Chabot and Rose-De-Lima Racine. He was baptized two days later. Godparents were Alfred Noyer and Mélie Noyer.[1]
In 1881, Alfred was living with his parents Pierre (38) and Délima (31) and his siblings Hilaire (13), Marie (11), Adèle (9) and Délima (7) in the census district of Sainte-Justine.[2]
In 1910, he was residing at the Taunton state hospital in Taunton, Massachusetts. He migrated in the USA around 1885. [3]
He passed away in Taunton, Massachusetts, on November 22, 1910. He was buried three days later in New Bedford, Mass. Cause of death was tuberculosis of the left kidney. He was single. [4]
