Biography
Pierre Louis Elzéar Chabot was born on 15 Dec 1886 in Saint-Raphaël parish in Bellechasse, Québec, Canada. He was the son of Thomas Chabot, farmer, and Emilie Dubreuil of this parish. Sponsors for Elzear's baptism were Elzéar Dubreuil and his wife Délina Roy; neither sponsor signed the register.
At age 24 Elzéar married Melanie Rondeau on 18 Jul 1911 in Saint-Zénon parish in Berthier, Québec, Canada. The couple received a dispensation for two banns of marriage.
NOTE: Clerical error on baptismal record gives LNAB as Dubreuil in the margin. In the body of the record the LNAB is Chabot.
