Biography
Marie Marguerite Chabot was born on 12 Jul 1819 and was baptized the next day in Saints-Gervais-et-Protais parish in Bellechasse, Bas-Canada. She was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste Chabot and Marguerite Trahan. Sponsors at Marguerite's baptism were Etienne Roy and Géneviève Gaumond; neither sponsor signed the register.
At age 21 Marguerite married Denys Naud dit Labrie on 21 Jul 1840 in Saint-Charles parish in Bellechasse. There were four known children born into this marriage.
Marguerite Chabot died at age 77 on 9 Dec 1896 in Sainte-Hénédine, Dorchester, Québec, Canada; she was buried two days later on 11 Dec in Sainte-Hénédine parish cemetery.
