Biography

William Edward Cerutty was born in 1899 in St Kilda, Victoria, Australia, the son of Helen Maria Cerutty and William Morphett Cerutty.^{[1] [2]}

In 1918 he enlisted in the A.I.F.

William died in 1924, ^[3] as the result of an accident, aged 24 [24y 10m 11d].

CERUTTY.—On the 20th May, at Broken Hill Hospital (the result of an accident on May 15th), William Edward Cerutty, B.M.E., the dear elder son of W. M. and Helen Cerutty, Edward street, Northcote, and loved fiance of Doris Kirby, Walker street, Clifton Hill, aged 24 years.

He was buried in Broken Hill Cemetery. ^[5]
