Osbert Arthur Cayley's birth was registered in the Great Boughton district of Cheshire in the third quarter of 1869.[1] He was christened at St Peter's, Chester, Cheshire on 18 July 1869.[2]
1871 census: Chester, Cheshire, age 11, born Chester.[3]
1901 census: Kensington, London, age 31, solicitor, born Chester, Cheshire, staying in the household of his aunt Eleanor Bulley.[4]
Osbert's marriage to Dorothy Lewis was registered in the Axbridge district of Somerset in the first quarter of 1910.[5] They lived in Ealing, London.
1911 census: Ealing, Middlesex, age 41, solicitor, born Chester, Cheshire. Wife Dorothy, 29, born Penistone, Yorkshire. One servant.[6]
He was a solicitor, some of whose work related to the legal affairs of the government of Ceylon.[7]
Osbert's death was registered in the Brentford district of Middlesex in the first quarter of 1947.[8]
