AND TO YOUR DIRECT FEMALE ANCESTORS AS FAR UP THE LINE AS YOU KNOW

If you belong to this haplogroup, then it stands to reason that your direct maternal ancestors should all belong to it as well, unless there is a break in the genetic line. A break can be discovered if two (or more) different haplogroup lineages lead to a shared ancestor, which is why the category tag should be entered for each profile in your direct maternal line.
