On November 29, 1798, Lot 29 St John's Island Colony became Lot 29, Prince Edward island Colony. When the colony joined Confederation on July 1, 1873, it was on condition that the Lots be abolished, although they are still in use informally today.
Modern locations in Lot 29 include Crapaud, Hampton, and Westmoreland
