Klimp Surname Origin
Upon emigration to the United States, Aron Johansson Edman ended up with the surname of Klimp. Aron and his family had resided in the town of Klimpfjäll in Vilhelmina, Västerbotten, Sweden. Klimp is a shortening of the town's name and the surname continues to this day.
