Exploring (formerly Explorers, AKA Explorer Scouts, Sea Explorers, Law Enforcement Explorers, Fire Rescue Explorers, Medical Explorers, etc.), the co-ed youth-run division of the Boy Scouts of America. Specialized programs in career exploration ("Learning for Life") and high adventure, as well as leadership development.

The program serves youth in 6th-8th grades (Explorer Clubs), and young men and women who are 14 through 20 years old (Explorer Posts). Exploring units (clubs or posts), are sponsored by local businesses, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations, and usually focus on a single career field, but can also introduce youth to a variety of career fields within a single unit. Exploring has categorized its programs into twelve career fields. Many police and fire departments use their explorer post as their cadet program.
