John Casey served in the Revolutionary War, enlisting at the age of 14 as a Drummer Boy. He was previously married but the name of his 1st wife is unknown at this time (Sarah Tillson). John & Abigail Casey had 7 children: Olive born 18 Mar 1804, Ichabod born 18 Jul 1805, Dan born 20 March 1807, Hannah born 03 Feb 1809, Mary "Polly" born 21 Aug 1811, Deborah born circa 1815 (died in childhood) and Jotham Godfrey born 13 Jan 1820. I have the Casey family Bible (purchased by Jotham G. Casey in 1835) in my possession.
