Joseph Casey, 21, bachelor and mechanic of Oldfield Road, son of Thomas Casey, engineer, married Mary Ann Allen (age 20), spinster of Oldfield Road, daughter of John Allen, mechanic, on 4 October 1868 in Salford, St Phillip, Lancashire, England. The witnesses were Albert Goodwin and Elizabeth Casey.^[1]
