Biography

Francesca Cascio is born 10 August 1848 and baptized the next day, named after her paternal grandmother. Her parents are Salvatore Cascio and Antonia Vinci. Her godparents are Giovanni di Palermo and Angela Lisotta, a married couple.

Salvatore dies at age 39 (b. 1812) on 21 February 1851. Francesca is just two and a half years old.

Francesca dies, reportedly at age thirteen (actually, she is fifteen) on 18 October 1863. She is unmarried.

Her older brother, Gioachino, dies three months later. Their mother survives them.
