Biography
Carmela Cascio is born and baptized 13 October 1858 in Corleone, the daughter of Antonino Cascio and Rosa Vernagallo. Her godfather is Biagio Vernagallo, who is unmarried.
Her mother's date of death is not known, but is presumed to be between Carmela's birth and at latest, a month before her father remarries, in early February 1861.
Carmela dies on 28 August 1861 at two years and ten months of age.
