She passed away on 11 October 1917 in Northam, Western Australia, Australia[2] and was buried at the Northam Cemetery[3][4]

CARTER.—On October 11, at Northam, Coo-ee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dudley G. Carter, of diphtheria, grandchild of Cr. and Mrs. R. B. Carter, Fremantle, and Mr. and Mrs. T. Simons, niece of J. J. Simons, Perth ; aged 6 years 2 months.
