Biography
Elie was born about 1821 in Rupert's Land or Térritoires du Nord-Ouest (T.N.O.), now in Canada.[1][2]
He is thought to have married Elmire Landry before 1849 in Rupert's Land.[3]
In 1891, Elie Carrière, a farmer, and Elmire Carriere lived in Cartier, Provencher, Manitoba, Canada, with 5 other Carrieres.[2]
Elie Carriere died on 28 May 1893 at St. Boniface, Manitoba, Canada when he was 74 years old.[4]
