Biography

Laurent Alphonse Cyrille, son of Laurent Carrier and Soulange Bélanger, was born and baptized on 12 Aug 1843 at St-Charles (Bellechasse), Quebec. [1]

He married Anna Denis Lapierre, widow of Pierre Drolet, on 13 Aug 1888 at Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse. [2]

In 1891, the family was living in St Charles, Bellechasse, Quebec, Canada : CARRIER Cyrille (merchant, age 47), Marie Anna (wife, age 40), Clara (daughter, age 16), Pierre (son, age 14), Maria (daughter, age 7), Ivone (daughter, age 1 month). [3]

The 1901 census at St-Charles de Bellechasse, Quebec, records some of their birthdates : CARRIÈRE Cyrille (merchant, born 12 Aug 1844), Anna (wife, born 26 Jul 1850), Ivonne (daughter, born 14 Mar 1891), Alice (daughter, born 7 Jun 1892); Clara DROLET (daughter-in-law, single, born 29 Nov 1874), Maria DROLET (single, born 9 Jun 1883); Henriette LAPIERRE (single, born 28 Oct 1825). [4]

Cyrille Carriere died before September 1909, when Anna Lapierre was buried as his widow at St-Charles-de-Bellechasse, Québec. [5]
