Henry Carrier was born in Virginia.

Henry Carrier was born in 1730 in Powells Fort, Shenandoah, Virginia, son of John Carrier (<1704–1773) and Elizabeth White (1703–1750).^[1]

Henry (50) married Mary Nicholas (15) (born in 1765 in Somerset, England; daughter of Richard Nicholas and Mary (Offer) Nicholas) on May 15, 1781 in Shenandoah. Their children were:

• Sarah Carrier (1779–1875)
• Abigail Carrier (1789–1871)

Henry (72) married Barbara Walters on January 29, 1803.^[2]

Henry (72) married Rutha Barbara Walters (22) (born about 1780 in Virginia) on February 1, 1803 in Shenandoah.^[3] Their children were:
