Domenico Carrabba is born around 1791 in Corleone, the son of Paolo Carrabba and Nicolena Cutrera.
In 1807 Domenico, age 16 (b. 1791), lives on the way out of the Bentivegna courtyard with his parents Paolo, 52, and Nicolena, 48, his brothers Andrea, 19, and Giuseppe, 14, and with Anna Maria Cutrera, 43, who may be his aunt.[1]
Domenico marries Maria Grizzaffi on 9 February 1817. Their parents are all living.[2][3]
Domenico and Maria have at least five children together: Lucia (1818), Paolo (1820), Nicolena (1823), Salvatrice (1825), and Giovanna (1828).
Lucia is born and baptized 6 March 1818. Her godparents are Giuseppe and Maria Gennaro, a married couple.
Paolo is born 29 February 1820 and baptized the next day, named after his paternal grandfather. His godparents are Antonio Palumbo and Sigismonda di Miceli, the wife of Calogero.
Nicolena is born and baptized on 6 January 1823. Her godparents are Giuseppe Valenti and Lucia Puccio, wife of Giuseppe.
Salvatrice is born and baptized on 22 September 1825, named after her maternal grandmother. Her godparents are Carmelo Rizzotto and Antonia Cutrono, brother and sister.
Giovanna is born and baptized on 21 March 1828. Her godparents are Bernardo Saccaro and Rosa Ajuanno (Aguanno).
Maria dies at age 27 (b. 1801) on 6 July 1828. Domenico survives her. Their youngest child dies on 2 December 1828 at nine months of age.
Domenico dies at age 45 (b. 1791) on 17 February 1836. He is the widower of Maria Grizzaffi. His mother survives him.
Paolo dies, reportedly at age 20 (he is 21) on 1 April 1841.
Lucia marries Maestro Antonino di Miceli two months later, on 13 June.
Nicolena marries Gioachino Finocchio on 15 June 1845.
