Biography

Martha Lou Carlin was born on September 13, 1920 to Oscar Vincent (19 Sep 1891 Philadelphia-- 28 Jul 1928 Portland, OR) and Thenie (01 Jun 1890 Oregon-- 19 Jul 1985 Multnomah, OR) Carlin in Seattle, King, Washington, United States^[1].

In 1930, Martha, age 9 was living in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon in the home of her great aunt Lou along with her widowed mother and younger brother Harry, 6. Her mother was a public school teacher.^[2]

She attended Washington High School from ???? - 1935^[3]

In 1940, Martha, age 19 was living in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon. Was living in the home of her great aunt Lou along with her widowed mother and younger brother Harry, 16. at this time she was working as a page in a public library.^[4]

She married David Robert Magin on July 6, 1946, in Multnomah, Oregon^[5].

In 1950, martha was living in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon with her husband and two children^[6].

She died on January 30, 2012, in Beaverton, Oregon, at the age of 91.

Was buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery, located in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon.^[7]
