Biography
Marguerite Carier was born and baptized on 11 May 1810 in Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue parish in Baie-du-Febvre, Bas-Canada. She was the daughter of painter Julien Carrier and his wife Marie Marguerite Vallée. Godparents at Marguerite's baptism were her uncle and aunt, Louis Vallée and Marie Leduc; neither godparent signed the register.
At age 46 Marguerite married Julien Jutras as his second wife on 15 July 1856 in Saint-Antoine parish in Baie-du-Febvre, Yamaska, Canada East.
Marguerite died at age 70 on 25 Aug 1869; she was buried two days later on 27 Aug in Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue parish cemetery.
